Is it bad being to corny?

If I can answer from personal experience, two silly people dating makes for a fun, long-lasting relationship. There's absolutely nothing wrong with switching from corny to serious and back again as long as you've got the same sense of humor, which it sounds like you do. Relax, if he's the right one, he'll appreciate who you are and when he gets over his last relationship, I'm sure you'll be able to start something wonderful with him!
